David HOLCOMBE

From the first time his dad put a rod and reel in his hands, David was hooked. Now representing the third generation of professional fishing in the family, David has taken his legacy seriously. In 2022, David spent four months studying sustainable fishing and black marlin on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. His passion runs deep, and he aspires to follow in his dad’s footsteps.

Since he was a young teenager, David has served as the first mate on numerous trips with his dad, and over the past few years, David has been hired to fish on many professional operations, including during his time on the Great Barrier Reef.

David graduated from Wofford College with a degree in environmental studies. He is currently pursuing a master’s in business administration at The Citadel and received his captain’s license in 2025.

He strives to ensure that Full Circle Fishing Charters is a fishing charter business dedicated to preserving the natural habitat for generations to come. When not helping out at Full Circle, David can be found as a first mate on well-known fishing charter boats up and down the East Coast.
